This July the Ocean County Artist Guild will present 3 Art Scholarships to a graduating High School Senior or a Post Secondary Vocational student who will be entering college as an Art major or will be attending an art school this fall.
The three scholarships are as follows: The Edith M. Grace Scholarship for Artistic Excellence in the amount of $500 will be awarded in honor of Edith M. Grace, who donated her home to the Ocean County Artists’ Guild in 1974. The Ethel Fishberg Award for Artistic Excellence in the amount of $200 will be awarded in honor of Ethel Fishberg, one of the early Presidents of the Guild who gave much time and effort in helping the Guild grow. The Ocean County Artists’ Guild award for Artistic Excellence will be awarded in the amount of $100 from the present day Guild.
The works submitted will be judged by three professional artists. This year Ted Jaslow, Elsa Herrmann, and the team of Carol Colvin and Allison Amelchenko will honor our participants with their artistic expertise. We are eager and happy to support our future artists and wish them well!
