This is a 4-week class on Fridays, November 1, 8, 15, 22, 1:00-3:30 pm

Week 1: One-point Perspective Drawing

  1. Tools required: scale, straightedge, 18 x 24 graph paper and pencils
  2. Terms to be explained:
    1. Picture plane
    2. Station point.
    3. Horizon
    4. Ground line
    5. Vanishing point (right & left)

 

Week 2: Two-point perspective Drawing

Week 3: Three-point perspective Drawing

Week 4. Review & practice

  1. Perspective circle
  2. Perspective on a curve
  3. Scaling method
  4. Atmospheric perspective (photographs)
  5. Perspective for painters (Howard Etter)
