COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROJECTS
Ocean County Artists Guild is excited to share its recent partnership with Hearts of Mercy—a local nonprofit that aims to provide “support, care and guidance in the lives of underserved children in the Barnegat and Manahawkin communities”.
Hearts of Mercy offers tutoring, mentorships, recreational play, and enrichment programs geared toward the hearts and minds of today’s youth—creating lasting memories and providing the tools for children to thrive in their most formative years. Recently, OCAG instructor and trustee, Kim Cesaretti, visited HOM where children participated in painting snowmen on slate!
Our thanks to Kim for volunteering her time and for her amazing work. Through opportunities like this, HOM is able to expose children of the community to new people, places, and experiences that aid in positive growth and development.
