Join us for a Sunday afternoon of fun, laughter, and artistic interpretation! The group will be guided through the process of painting a chosen scene on a tray or shadowbox and then encase it in resin. Adult Parties are for 18+ of age. You do not need to be an artist, just be able to hold a paint brush in one hand and a beverage in the other. Light refreshments and snacks are served. Participants can bring their own favorite beverage, snack or dessert to share. Come and enjoy a a good time out with friends and meet new friends. Each month we will complete a different project with a theme – Autumn Breeze, Harvest, Holiday Fest, Winter wonderland.
Don’t forget to bring an apron, or wear clothes you can get dirty. We will be applying resin on our painting to give it depth and enable inclusion of 3-D objects, such as dried flowers, shells feathers, tiny beads, tiny shells, crystals and other tiny decorative items. Think about what you would like to paint on the tray; flowers, seascape birds; barn and meadow of flowers etc. The instructor will have prepared ideas, but feel free to bring your ideas and images to guide you. If you have your own small wood tray, shadowbox or other wood box you may bring it with you. Also, if you have any favorite photo
printed on paper (8 X 10), dried flowers, sand, tiny shells, glitter, beads, small twigs, tiny buttons or other items you may want to use in the resin to add to your painting bring them with you.
